While installing libreoffice after uninstalling openoffice, I received the error

error installing libreoffice trying to overwrite '/usr/bin/soffice', which is also in package openoffice-debian-menus

To solve this, there is a solution suggested here which I am giving for quick reference.

sudo dpkg -P openoffice-debian-menus

sudo apt --fix-broken install
