ISAPIModule Error Code : 800704ec, HTTP Code : 404.2

While working with IIS7, if you get the error "800704ec" along with ISAPIModule and with HTTP Code 404.2; while browing ASP.NET pages OR WebService Pages, then follow the below given procedure to get rid of this situation.

• Open IIS
• Click on System Name
• Click ON ISAPI & CGI Restrictions in the middle panel
• Check the version of ASP.NET is in Allowed state OR not.
• If not make them Allowed

That is all you have to do.
